Our history

The National Support Group after July 22nd was established in Oslo on August 21, 2011, to advocate for the interests of those affected by the bombing of the Government Quarter and the shooting at Utøya.
The terrorist attacks on July 22nd affected a large number of people, and communities across the country were impacted. The Support Group is open to all who were affected in different ways: those who were in or near the Government Quarter or at AUF's summer camp on Utøya, their families and close relations, and those who were involved in or affected by the events in other ways. The Support Group offers a network and contact with others who have been affected similarly to you.
The main purpose of the Support Group is to work towards safeguarding the interests of the bereaved, survivors, relatives, and others affected, ensuring they receive the help they need. We aim to reach out to all who consider themselves affected by the events of July 22nd. Is this you or someone you know? Click "become a member" to learn more about joining the Support Group.
